Recently Carpe Artista’s neighbor in the Smyrna Depot District created a mural on the outside of their building during the pandemic. It is the “Be A Light” mural that encourages us all to be a light in our world. To follow the theme started by that mural Carpe Artista is launching a new “Be A Light” series. This will be a series of original artistic content challenging each of us to be a light to our community that desperately needs positive influence. It will feature local artists with spoken word, music, acting and more. Carpe Artista’s core values of Character, Calling, Craft and Community will be represented.
