Eric Burgess

Guitar Instructor

Eric holds a Master of Music degree with a focus in jazz guitar performance from Middle Tennessee State University. He currently works as an adjunct professor of music at Columbia State Community College and at Motlow State Community College, where he teaches both classroom music classes and private lessons. While studying at the Schwob School of Music in Columbus, Georgia, Eric was an active member of the local music scene and performed throughout the Southeast as a member of the Bryan Canonigo Quartet. Since finishing his graduate degree at MTSU, Eric is working regularly on the stage, in the studio, and in the pit orchestra for various musical theatre productions. Eric is proficient at playing and teaching many styles on the guitar, including jazz, rock, fusion, country, bluegrass, funk, R&B, and pop music.
