Seven years ago I heard about Carpe Arts Academy when my son had the opportunity to attend. I loved seeing his enthusiasm with what he was doing and what he had learned. When I saw the need for volunteers I knew I had to jump in. At Carpe we have adults and children, but watching a child, who will be part of our community, grow and to see their smile when they finish their project, it’s priceless. I feel so blessed to have watched kids grow in height and in their love for their craft. I’m so thankful to be part of Carpe Artista. Carpe finds ways to improve and grow the program, year after year, so that our kids have opportunities to love the gifts that God gave them.   – Elvira Deo
