14th Annual Simply Smyrna Celebration
Saturday Night, June 14, 2025
5:00 to 9:30PM

Historic Depot District, Front Street, Smyrna, TN

This Carpe Artista event kicks off Summer in Smyrna with five music stages, fun for the kids  and YOU – our vendors!  Join us for an evening under the stars.  The Front Street Depot District will be open to pedestrians only with Music, Art, Food, and much more.

NOTE: All applications are pending review to ensure fair competition within business and industry types. First come basis.

Pricing:

  • 10 x 10 booth – $175
  • 10 x 20 booth – $225
  • Food Truck Space – $250
  • 10 x 10 Non-profit booth – $100 (Must have 501c3 status)
  • 10 x 10 Artist/Artisan booth – $100 (See requirements below)

Event Guidelines

  • The Simply Smyrna Celebration is a rain or shine, outdoor, non-refundable event.
  • ALL VENDORS MUST submit a vendor application and receive approval in order to complete registration.
  • Vendors may NOT bring additional food items to sell that were not disclosed and approved during the registration process.
  • Food Trucks/Trailers must have a valid Mobile Food Vendor permit from the Town of Smyrna.  Apply here
  • We DO NOT supply tents, tables, chairs, or lights
  • Whisper generators ONLY are permitted. All generators must have a protective cage for safety.
  • Electricity must be requested during the registration process (first come basis). Vendors requesting electricity MUST supply a 100–200 FT outdoor heavy duty extension cord.
    • ALL tents MUST have weights. Please DO NOT plan to use stakes to secure your tent as most of our vendor booths are located on concrete.                                          
    • Vendors are NOT allowed to have animals of any kind in their booth space.                                                             
    • Absolutely NO vehicles allowed on Front Street between 4:30pm and 9:30pm.
    • ALL vendors must remain set-up for the duration of the event.
    • Vendors are required to leave their booth space clean when the day is over. Trash bins will be provided.

     

    Booth Information

    Vendors MUST follow the check-in process in order to receive their booth number and location.
    Check-in process will be provided to approved vendors via email prior to the event date.

    ARTISAN VENDORS

    • Artist creations include paintings, drawings, mixed media, photography, etc. 
    • Artisan creations are handcrafted products made with skill in the manual arts, such as woodworking, jewelry, candle-making, blacksmithing, metal work, weaving, pottery, etc.

    SET-UP

    • There will be two arrival times for all vendors beginning at 2:00pm and ending at 4:30pm. All food vendors will be in group B, arriving between 3:00pm-4:00pm. All other vendor arrival times will be communicated via email prior to the event date.
    • Please be prepared to unload your booth items quickly.  First, UNLOAD your items,  SECOND park your vehicle BEFORE setting up your booth.  This will ensure a smooth set up for all.  
    • There is ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING allowed on Front Street.
    • Front Street will close at 1:30pm and a Vendor Pass will be REQUIRED to bring your vehicle into the area.  No vehicles will be allowed to pull in after 4:30pm.
    • Please bring enough lights (christmas lights, battery poered lights, lanterns) to illuminate your booth and area. It will start to get dark around 8:30 and we want people to continue to shop and meet you!
    • If you have any questions during the event, please come to the Carpe Artista booth. We will have a team there to help answer questions.

    BREAK-DOWN:

    • Please DO NOT break down your booth before the event ends at 9:30pm. When vendors break-down early it disrupts the feel of the event.
    • If you run out of product before the end of the event, please display a sign.
    • Vehicles will NOT be allowed back on closed streets to load-out until after 9:30 pm.
    • The road will reopen to thru traffic at 10:30 pm.
