13th Annual Simply Smyrna Celebration
Saturday Night, June 8, 2024
5:00 to 9:30PM

Historic Depot District, Front Street, Smyrna, TN

This Carpe Artista event kicks off Summer in Smyrna with five music stages, fun for the kids  and YOU – our vendors!  Join us for an evening under the stars.  The Front Street Depot District will be open to pedestrians only with Music, Art, Food, and much more.

Venue Information

  • 10 x 10 and 10 x 20 spaces available
  • Discounted non-profit and Artisan booth rates available
  • Electricity is available upon request (limited availability)
  • Bring your own extension cords and lights
  • Bring your own set-up – tables, chairs, tents, etc.

NOTE: All applications are pending review to ensure fair competition within business and industry types. First come basis.

Pricing:

  • 10 x 10 booth – $175
  • 10 x 20 booth – $225
  • Food Truck Space – $250
  • 10 x 10 Non-profit booth – $100 
  • 10 x 10 Artisan booth – $100 

Celebration Guidelines

  • Absolutely NO vehicles allowed on Front Street between 4:30pm and 9:30pm.
  • We DO NOT supply tables, chairs, tents or LIGHTS
  • Vendors may NOT bring additional FOOD items to sell that were not disclosed and approved during the registration process. 
  • Quiet generators are permitted. All generators must have a protective cage for safety. Electricity is also available upon request (limited on first come basis)
  • Vendors MUST supply a 100 – 200 FT outdoor heavy duty extension cord for supplied electrical service.
  • ALL Tents MUST have weights as there is no way to stake the tents in the ground.
  • ALL vendors must remain set-up for the duration of the event.  Please do not break down your booth/food truck before 10:00pm.  If you run out of product please display a sign.  
  • Leave your area clean when the day is over. Trash bins will be provided.
  • Carpe Café does not have change for your customers.
  • All Food Trucks/Trailers must have a valid Mobile Food Vendor permit from the Town of Smyrna.  Apply here: https://www.townofsmyrna.org/home/showpublisheddocument/15520/637454420793270000

  • No live animals. Vendors are not allowed to have animals of any kind in their booth space.
  • Simply Smyrna Celebration is a rain or shine non-refundable event. Your participation funds & supports students involved in Carpe Artista programming.

Booth Information

Vendors MUST follow the check-in process in order to receive their booth number and location.
Check-in process will be provided to approved vendors via email prior to the event date.

ARTISAN VENDORS are those booths that represent Artists and Artisans.  Artist creations include paintings, drawings, mixed media, photography, etc.  Artisan creations are handcrafted products made with skill in the manual arts, such as woodworking, jewelry, candle-making, blacksmithing, metal work, weaving, pottery, etc.

SET UP Times: There will be three arrival times for all vendors beginning at 2:00pm and ending at 4:30pm. All food vendors will be in group C, arriving between 3:00pm-4:30pm

All other vendor arrival times will be sent out 1 week prior to event date via email.

  • Please be prepared to unload your booth items quickly.  First, UNLOAD your items,  SECOND go PARK your vehicle BEFORE setting up your booth.  This will ensure a smooth set up for all.  
  • There is ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING allowed on Front Street.
  • Front Street will close at 1:30pm and a Vendor Pass will be REQUIRED to bring your vehicle into the area.  No vehicles will be allowed to pull in after 4:30pm.

PLEASE! BRING ENOUGH LIGHTS, LANTERNS, CHRISTMAS LIGHTS, BATTERY POWERED CANDLES, ETC. to illuminate your booth and area. It will start to get dark around 8:30 and we want people to continue to shop and meet you!

BREAK DOWN Times: The event ends at 9:30 pm. Please do NOT break down and leave before that time as this disrupts the entire feel of the event. Vehicles will NOT be allowed back to load until after 9:30 pm. The road will reopen to general traffic at 10:30 pm.
