Helping Town Leaders Create a Vision for the Future
When Ron set-out to launch Carpe Artista many years ago, the first thing he did was sit with town leaders. Not only did he share his ideas about the organization, but he showed them what an invigorated Depot District could mean for the town. Ron and Susan and others in the organization have been involved in crafting ideas and plans ever since.
The most recent culmination of these efforts can be seen in the Lowry Street Revitalization plan. The “Bridge to Bridge” plan encompasses Lowry from Nissan Drive at the South to Sam Ridley on the North. It is a long-range plan, but since its adoption by the Smyrna Town Council – following public vetting and debate – it has already directed zoning, building, and purchase efforts.
